In this experimental mixed media workshop you will learn to play with the concepts of colour, space and form.
A free approach to colour can be very liberating: using it to enhance the mood rather than depicting exactly what we see, makes for impactful sketches.
Playful exercises help us to discover colour combinations as well as exploring different media like markers and crayons. We will also learn to simplify a complex scene into blocks of shapes. Depicting an urban space the way we not only see it but sense it, is one of the main goals of this workshop.

Materials:
Usual sketching materials, watercolours, paper, markers, pen.
Jenny works a lot with markers and acrylic markers because they help her to simplify scenes and create texture, bring them along if you want to experiment with them.
